Please read these terms carefully before engaging with Iconic Web Studios.
Welcome to Iconic Web Studios. When you hire us, browse this website, or sign a proposal with our team, you're agreeing to the terms laid out below. We've written them in plain language on purpose. If something here doesn't make sense, ask us before you sign anything.
Throughout this page, "Iconic Web Studios," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the agency. "You" refers to the client, visitor, or business engaging our services.
Iconic Web Studios is a web development and digital marketing agency. Depending on the package you choose, our work can include:
Every project starts with a written proposal or Statement of Work (SOW). That document, not this page, is the final word on what's included, what it costs, and when it's due. If the SOW and this page ever conflict, the SOW wins.
A project officially begins once you've approved a proposal and made the required deposit. Work does not start on assumption, verbal agreement, or a "sounds good" email. We need it in writing and we need the funds in hand.
Once a project kicks off, we'll assign a point of contact on our side and ask you to do the same on yours. Having one decision-maker per team keeps things moving and avoids conflicting feedback.
We give realistic timelines and we do our best to hit them. That said, deadlines shift when:
If a delay is on our end, we'll flag it early and adjust the plan. If it's on your end, the delivery date moves accordingly. Either way, you'll hear from us, not silence.
Most packages include a set number of revision rounds, listed in your proposal. Feedback should be submitted as one consolidated list rather than a stream of separate messages. This helps our designers and developers make changes efficiently instead of chasing scattered notes.
Requests that fall outside the original scope of work, such as new pages, added features, or a full design pivot after approval, are treated as change requests and quoted separately.
A project moves at the pace of the slower party, and that's often the client, not the agency. To keep things on track, we'll need you to:
Delays caused by missing input on your side don't count against our delivery timeline.
Payment terms, including deposit amounts and milestone billing, are set out in your SOW. Unless stated otherwise:
Prices quoted are valid for the scope described in the SOW. Adding features, pages, or platforms mid-project may affect the final cost.
Once a project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables: the finished website, designs, and any custom code built specifically for you. Third-party assets like stock photography, licensed plugins, or premium fonts remain subject to their own licensing terms, and it's your responsibility to maintain any recurring licenses after handoff.
We keep backups of completed projects for a limited period after delivery. If you need a file re-sent within that window, just ask.
Some packages include hosting through Iconic Web Studios. If yours does, hosting operates under its own service terms covering uptime, storage, and support, separate from this project agreement.
If you host your site elsewhere, we're happy to deploy to your server or platform of choice, but we can't take responsibility for issues that originate from third-party hosting environments we don't manage.
Projects that go quiet on the client side for 30 days or more may be marked inactive. We'll reach out first, more than once, before that happens. Restarting an inactive project may require a reactivation fee to cover the time needed to get back up to speed, especially if it's been several months.
You may cancel a project at any point by notifying us in writing. Work completed up to that point is billable, and any applicable refund follows the schedule in Section 11.
Because our work involves real hours from designers, developers, and strategists, refunds are handled based on how far a project has progressed:
Specific percentages, where applicable, are detailed in your SOW. To request a refund, email us at the address below with your project name and reason for the request.
We build good work, but there are things outside our control. We're not liable for:
Our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific project.
Anything shared with us during a project, business plans, credentials, internal documents, stays confidential. We won't share it with outside parties without your permission, except where required by law. We ask the same of you regarding our internal processes, pricing structures, and proprietary methods.
We reserve the right to decline or pause work on any project that involves illegal activity, hate speech, adult content outside an agreed scope, or material that could expose either party to legal risk.
We may update this page as our services or policies evolve. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. For active projects, the terms in place at the time your SOW was signed will continue to govern that specific engagement.
These terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
